Soap Sachet

Soap Sachet

Wide lace
Bar of nice smelling soap
I used my homemade soap.

Measure lace around soap to have the right side.
Sew the side and bottom edged of the lace together on the back side with matching thread.  I wet over this about 3 times to make sure the lac was sewn together good.
Turn lace right side out.
Put soap inside of little lace sachet bag.
Gather top side together and tie ribbon around it.

These make great Sachets for clothes drawers.

The benefits of these are
By drying your soap out you will get a lot longer life out of the bar of soap
You will not get little bits of it calling out like you do with potpourri
When the soap no longer smells or you are ready to use it take it out and replace it with a new bar.
Now you have a fresh smelling soap sachet all over again to make your clothes smell great.

I am partying at some of these place come check them out HERE

Did you like this craft project?  I love to hear what you think!

Thank you so very much. We just bought a home and the built in dresser drawers kept making my clothes smell musty. Hopefully this will help!
