I have been reading in Galatians and this morning in my quiet time I was convicted that I needed to serve more in Love.
Galatians 5:13 the end part tells us to "serve one another in Love."
This is something I fall short of and need to work on.
So many times it is easy to do what I have to do because it needs to be done but I don't do it because I love my family and I want to serve them in Love.
It is so easy do what I have to do but do it with a grumbling heart.
Lord help me to serve in Love.
Help me to serve my family with Love today, to do thing things I have to do out of love and not out of the wrong motives.
Help me to be an example of you to my children.
Let all that you do be done in Love.

Such a good reminder! I think sometimes I'll do things out of a sense of duty rather than because of love. It's easy to forget that just doing something isn't what's important; the heart behind it matters, too.
I struggle with this too. I am very task oriented, and do most of the things I feel I need to do, but my heart is not always in the right place. A lot of times, I do things just so I can check them off my list and move onto the next thing. I found your blog through the Women Living Well Link up party.
