Big Truths for Little Kids - Book Review

Big Truths for Little Kids: Teaching Your Children to Live for God
This is a WONDERFUL book that my family has really loved. My children often will get this book out and say Mama please read me this story. Book has 36 lessons that is based on the Catechism. Many people do not even know what catechism means or they think it is a Catholic thing. Catechism is learning through questions and answers. In each lesson there are several questions that you can ask and memorize. There is a great story about a brother and sister Cassie and Caleb and their daily lives. These children in the story want to live for the Glory of God and it comes across in their attitudes. It shows children how they can live their lives for the Glory of God even in the everyday trials of life. At the end of the story there are questions to ask about the story as well as prayer ideas and a Bible reading reference. As a mother who holds teaching God and His Word to my children Highly I very much value this book and the contents it has in its pages. I would highly recommend this book to any one that holds teaching children about God a High priority.

Thanks for the review! I've heard of this book, but didn't know anyone personally who'd used it.

The only thing I really didn't care for about this book was that the children wore bathing suits when they went swiming in the stories. Over all though it was very good. We also went through Susan Hunts Jesus in Genesis and are now going through her ABC book and memorizing a scripture with each letter.

hanks Christine for your comment. This is a precious book. We are now working through Jesus in Exodus.
