Valentines gifts - sewen decorated hand or Kitchen towels.

I love things that are feminine, lacy, pretty etc.  I like to decorate my home and make it look like it has a woman's touch.
I needed some gifts and so I thought why not make some pretty decorated hand or kitchen towels.
I got some nice cheap towels at a Dollar Tree.
I got only 1/4th yard of festive fabric at a fabric store.
1/4 yard will make about 6 to 8 towels depends on how wide you cut it.
I had all the other trimmings lace, ribbon etc on hand.

When making these it is best to cut the fabric with a pinking sheers to keep fabric from fraying.
I sewed the fabric down first using matching thread and making sure the fabric was laying straight.  It is best to pin the fabric down first.  Next use your imagination and put on whatever trims you have or want to use.

My daughter who is 5 love feminine things at well and thought that everyone needed lace on them.

This is a fun project and they look beautiful handing on a towel rack or stove.
These can be made for any occasion or Holiday and they make a special gift.
You could make these with fun children's printed fabric and children would just love them.

Use your imagination and go create.
