Should Christians celebrate Halloween?

Door Stop Posters by Neil Faulkner
(picture represents fall not Halloween)

I have be come very concerned how Christians shrug off the idea that Halloween is innocent and just a fun time.  They think that there is nothing to it and that you can make an evil thing a good thing.  I urge you if you think Halloween is ok to rethink what you are doing.  I am not judging anyone you need to make your own decisions I am just asking you to consider what the whole thing is all about.  Check out this video:

If you are under 18 please get your parents permission to watch this.  Mothers it is not advisable to watch this if your children are in the same room as you.

To help you look into this more please check out:  Halloween by David Virkler

As well as this info The Scariest Thing You Can Do This Halloween by Doug Phillips

I ask you to consider this and pray about it if you truly want to Glorify God in your life.

Please post a comment and tell me your thoughts on this issue.  I would like to know how you feel about it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO they shouldn't! I believe this doesn't glorify God but the enemy. Our family doesn't celebrate it. It's a matter of one's conviction, ours is not to. I ask myself - does this glorify God? Does this take the focus of God? My opionion is yes. <><

I'm with you we do not celebrate Halloween in any way. I believe that this is dishonoring to God. It is a concern to me how some Christians shrug it off as being just innocent fun.

Thank you for posting this! We do not celebrate Halloween either and I do not understand why Christians and even churches (!) celebrate this evil day. I also do not believe that "it is a matter of one's conviction" as Mama to 3 Blessings said. I believe it is blatantly against everything we (should) know to be true and good.

I appreciate your view Jamie. It is nice to know other like minded Christian sisters who share this same value.
Blessing to you and yours.
